I Completely Agree with Henry Cavill’s Best Beginner’s Fitness Advice

I absolutely love great beginner’s fitness advice that is thoughtful, appropriate and healthy.  When someone hits the nail on the head, I want to share what they’ve said.  After all, I’m an experienced personal trainer, but I hardly believe that I know everything or that I have the best wording for everything I know. So, it’s great when I hear someone say just what I want to say, just as I’d like it said, and I give them credit for it when I share their words.  I’ve tried hard not to turn this into a celebrity blog, but I have to hand it to Henry Cavill in this week’s post. He’s got a great attitude.

Eating just egg whites is this trend that really kicked into full force when I was pretty young. Everyone thought that eating the yolk would spike their cholesterol and shorten their lives. This was true of people who were already perfectly healthy without a single cholesterol concern.  They were doing it out of an attempt to prevent the need for cholesterol medication as they age. 

Healthy Weight Loss Resources to Use (and Some to Avoid)

With the gestures broadly still underway, healthy weight loss resources outside the gym are in high demand. As a personal trainer, I get this. Would I prefer that people use their gym or come to my studio? If appropriate for their workout, of course I would. But things as they are, I completely understand why people are staying home. This has opened the opportunity to share some great information that is helpful regardless of whether or not you’re using the gym.
